AI was moving faster than governance could follow. VeridianTech exists to close that gap.
VeridianTech Co. was founded by Sonia Kentaro after more than a decade leading IT risk and audit engagements at PwC, EY, and KPMG across Uganda, the UK, and international markets. In every organisation she worked with — from major financial institutions to global professional services firms — she saw the same pattern: AI was being adopted faster than governance structures could keep pace, leaving companies exposed to regulatory risk they didn't fully understand.
The enterprise firms that could afford Big 4 advisory were getting structured, rigorous governance support. Mid-market companies were not. VeridianTech was built to change that — bringing the same depth of methodology, the same regulatory expertise, and the same quality of output to organisations that had previously been priced out of serious AI governance advisory. The firm is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, with deep roots and ongoing work across East Africa.
